Cool game! I ended up playing this several times.  I did encounter an error on level 4 twice where I tried to go into a new room and the screen goes to black and effectively freezing the game.  If you get this fixed, please let me know!

Thanks for the feedback! The level generation was in for a redesign anyway, so i'll fix it as soon as I can. However, I am currently participating in a gamejam, so the fix will not be immediate.

Nice work! I saw your game in the weekly game jam discord.  I like what you've done with this art pack and I especially like how you can hit the small green guys' heads around after they die, that was pretty clever. The movement is very swift, which makes it hard to dodge the spikes but that might be on purpose. It'd be nice if there was some way to mark where you've been because otherwise you start to get lost and you have to backtrack a lot. I found a few bugs. Firstly, the big green enemy's sprite goes through the wall when he hits a corner. That could probably be fixed by making his collision mesh a little wider. Similarly, the player is able to hide behind the wall on the bottom which I personally would want to change so that you know where your player is at all times. Secondly, the NPCs will still give you the items even if you don't have enough coins. Lastly, I would probably have the camera follow the player a little bit because it feel kind of awkward when the character is on the far side of the screen. It was fun and challenging. Keep adding to it!

Cool

This game is great! Just the right difficulty level to make you cautious. I'd like it if the coins and potions didn't end up landing on the spikes sometimes as it means I can't collect them. But other than that, nice little game tommy.
